Our season runs from the beginning of April thru October.  We do hire some partial season help, however you must be able to work thru the third weekend in August.  Please use our online employment application form to submit your employment interest.

Housing Information

Housing is furnished at St Cloud Dormitory for $60.00/week.  Meal program is $35.00/week for three meals/day, seven days/week served in our Employee Cafe.

Internship assistance is provided by all Managers in every field within the hotel trade, please indicate on your application if you intend to work towards a course requirement. All employees are eligible for our 'Employee of the Month' and 'Employee of the Year' award and are rewarded for their exceptional efforts.

Our annual employee boat cruise, regular St. Cloud Barbeques, the Pink Pony Softball Team, the traditional end-of-year party as well as food, beverage and guest room discounts for family are just some of the enjoyable aspects of working a season on Mackinac Island at the Chippewa Hotel Waterfront.

We are pleased to announce that Ms. Abby Holstrom is our Chippewa Hotel/Lilac Tree Hotel Employee of the Year!  Thank you for your dedication and hard work this season.  It is employees like Abby that make the Chippewa and Lilac Tree two of the top hotels on the Island.  Abby received a bonus check and a $1.00/hr raise for the 2008 season.  Congratulations and keep up the great work!
