As our season came to a close, we said our good-byes to all of you and you did in return. It’s been a great year and we enjoyed seeing all of you. Now that you’re back home, your Mackinac memories fade away as your everyday routine takes hold.
How do you say good-bye to a Fall sunrise that greets you like family? Or to eating, enjoying great times, and music at the Pink Pony with family and friends. How do you say good-bye to the many smiles, walks through town, the many shops, biking miles around the island, inner roads, and trails that allow you to see the beautiful Mackinac homes inside ?
How do you say good-bye to the beautiful colors of a blazing Mackinac Fall with crisp air, falling leaves, and seagulls who perch on your railing at the Chippewa Hotel just to say “hello” ? How do you say good-bye to the new friends you’ve made, and conversations filled with hopes and dreams, where the stresses of your work schedule fade away on a brisk, Fall day.
For us still on Mackinac, we say good-bye, and also say hello as we witness another beautiful Mackinac Fall transition into blustery days and crystal clear nights. We say hello to a dusting of fresh snow that gives us a glimpse of another cold winter season approaching. Where an evening snowfall glares in the moonlight, and makes you feel alive where the hustle and bustle on Main Street is a thing of the past.
For now, we say good-bye, and say hello as we look forward to a beautiful winter on Mackinac. We’re excited that our partner hotel, the Lilac Tree Suites & Spa will be re-opening again from December 26th– January 4th . Mackinac during the Holidays brings new meaning to Holiday Joy and is guaranteed to be one of the most joyful experiences you’ll ever have.
Call for reservations — we’ll all be glad to see you to say hello again as we bring in the New Year together.
Until we chatter again…
